Excursion – Beer tasting

On January 17th the SHA Excursion committee organised a beer tasting night! Accompanied by some french fries and a snack to lay a goede bodem, as many as 5 ‘speciaalbiertjes’ were available, going from the lowest alcohol percentile (6%) to the highest (10.5%). Beers were drunk, stories were shared and games were played, but it wasn’t your ordinary night of chugging beers: we also got to learn something from our very own beer-master Marnix! After introducing every beer, he told us the history behind the beer and the way and place it was crafted, which honestly made it taste even better! It was a great night that everyone very much enjoyed!
