On Monday the 14th of January 2019, the SHA National Trip will visit the Dutch Institute for Fundamental Energy Research (DIFFER) in Eindhoven.

The group will be split up in three groups and all will have a guided tour. All groups will visit the following sites, in a different order:

– Magnum-PSI facility: materials testing for the international fusion project ITER

– Solar Fuels lab: using a plasma environment to efficiently recycle CO2 into clean fuel precursors

– Nanomaterials for Energy lab: investigating the interplay between light and nanoparticles to convert light into chemical energy
