STEM Step Forward Symposium

Today, a group of MBLS students organized the STEM Steps Forward symposium. The speakers were a group of PhD’ers, professors and researchers; Reyanne Heijerman, Vadim Bogatyr, PhD, Artem Pankin, Yo-Yi Pat, Danielle Counotte, Nadine J. van der Heijden and dr. Eva S. Deutekom. They shared some of their experiences in choosing their careers, including dealbreakers, spontaneous offers and moving abroad. Also, going from academia to industry and vice versa, applying for jobs and working in the Netherlands as a foreigner were topics of discussion.
