National Trips: NIKHEF and Oceans of Energy

Last Friday, some of our students had the pleasure of visiting NIKHEF in Amsterdam! There, they got an inside-look into their labs, they learned about particle detectors and data analysis, gaining insight into how their projects contribute to global collaborations in high-energy physics.

Another group of students had the pleasure of visiting Oceans of Energy in Sassenheim! There, they explored the company’s specialization into offshore solar energy; a great example of out-of-the-box thinking and integrating creative ideas from many different fieds to work towards a more sustainable future!
