Virtual national trip: IMC trading

The third National Trip Committee is excited to announce the next upcoming virtual national trip to IMC, a market maker founded in Amsterdam. A market maker is a company that is facilitating trade on a market by buying or selling assets for which currently no other buyer or seller is available. We invite you to join the event on Monday the 14th of June from 15:00 to 16:30.

Are you interested in getting to know IMC better? Since we cannot organize in-house and on-campus events on the short-term, one of IMC’s Amsterdam Traders has prepared a 60-minute lecture where you will learn more about IMC and what they do. After the lecture we organize a live and informal Q&A where you can ask all your questions.

The lecture is about getting familiar with Trading Financial Markets. Topics covered are Pricing Derivatives, Market Making and Volatility Trading. IMC will also shed some light on what it requires to be a good trader and how a technical background can contribute to do so. No financial background is required, just a proactive attitude.
