On-campus Symposium: Music

The next SHA-symposium will be held on campus (Theatron, Educatorium)! The theme of the symposium is Music. Three guest speakers will talk about music from their own workfield. It is also possible to join the symposium online.

Everyone has listened to music and most of us enjoy it daily. In this symposium, we want to show the different aspects of music seen from different scientific fields. What does music do to our brains? Where can we find music in nature? How do strings produce sound? What is the structure behind a composition? We would like to answer some of these questions in this symposium.

The symposium will take place on Tuesday, the 8th of June, from 17:15-19:00. You will receive 2 educational points for attending this event (online or on campus). The program will be revealed shortly. No dinner will be served, as the university does not allow this.
